Palisade is bike-friendly!
Quiet roads, outstanding views, and expansive agriiculture make Palisade a great place to pedal. Rent a bike and experience it yourself! Here at Rapid Creek we have well-maintained, modern rental bikes to suit you needs - whether you are looking for a casual wine-tour, a brisk road ride, or a challenging singletrack. Reservations are highly recommended! A Credit Card is required for reservations and deposits. Reservations canceled within 7 days of the reservation date will be subject to 50% of the total rental fee.
Our Cruisers are three-speed bikes with simple-to-operate controls and comfortable seats. They are equipped with baskets, bells, locks, and lights - perfect for wine-touring and easy enough for anyone to ride.
Rates: 1-day $35 / 2-day $65 / 3-day $90 / Additional days $25 Half-Days (after 2pm) $25
We also have cruiser-style tandems available for couples with very trusting relationships. It still has the bells and baskets like our regular cruisers, but built for two. This seven-speed behemoth isn't fast, but it sure is fun. Rates: $50 flat rate
Skinny tire bikes for more ambitious rides. Lap the 25-mile "Fruit Loop" or explore the Colorado National Monument. Rates: 1-day $45 / 2-day $85 / 3-day $125 / Additional days $35
We have high-performance mountain bikes available for those wanting to get dirty. As a Niner Demo Center with have all sizes of the popular 29er bikes available. Also availabe are 26" wheeled bikes from Transition. Demo fees will be deducted from subsequent bike purchases made here, Click here for a listing of our current demo bikes. For some, a rental bike is no subsitute for their own personal bike. So bring it along! Shipping your bike ahead to Palisade is easy and will save you money on airline handling fees. We will assemble your steed and have it ready for your arrival. Call ahead to make arrangements.
