Horse Mountain is south of Palisade, on the South side of the Colorado River.  The Mountain rises in the middle of the riding area, with trail nearly surrounding the mountain itself, and with many options both on the mountain and in the lower desert further south.  This area includes some of the singletrack portion of the annual Palisade Classic races and some fast doubletrack, suitable for riders of all abilities.
