It's been hitting triple-digits here in the Grand Valley.  Below is an artist's rendition of Palisade in July.

Fear not, intrepid traveler... temps are quite lovely in the early morning.  For the afternoons, a dip in the river brings relief.  And with the 10,000-foot Grand Mesa a half-hour away, escape to the high country is always an option.
