After a change of ownership and a brief closure for remoldeling, the Palisade Cafe is back!  The resurant is now open from 7 am to 11 pm, 7 days a week.  Featuring an ecclectic menu AND resonable prices has already made the Cafe a success.  I've been there 7 times and they've only been open 2 1/2 days.

Building fire-pit jumps is a time honored tradition in these parts.  A recent camp-out in Glade Park yielded this fine specimen - the result of idle hands, a 30 pack, and one of those little folding shovels.

Who am I kidding?  She's the only one who reads this!  I'm never going to hear the end of it.
